First off I have to say that Jess is an absolute legend for not only managing to get through the day with some of the biggest heels I have seen but for also managing some of the unique positions her photographer (Tanya Friend) put her in, well done!

Jessica and Matthew had a wonderfully personal and touching wedding ceremony, with beautiful readings and some of the most poignant vows I have heard. Their vows were so moving I left them in full in the following clip and still managed to get a bit teary listening to them as I did on the day itself. (I am seriously such a soft sometime!)

Natalie & Craig's Highlights (Wagga Wedding Video)

I first met Natalie via email when she ask me what dates I had free in October AND November as she had already decided that she was booking with me, but needed to find a date that suited both myself and the other vendors that she had chosen. It's awesome when brides put their vendor choices before choosing a date, yet at the same time I feel an added level of pressure to do a fantastic job.

I'm always up for a challenge, yet filming Natalie and Craig's wedding was such a breeze a they were naturally such a gorgeous couple. Their wedding really focused on the importance of the commitment they were making to each other and it was a joy to have been a part of it...

I know I've said this countless times before but I really do love my job!

Mindy & Ryan's Highlights (Wagga Wedding Video)

For those of you who might have missed Mindy & Ryan's bridal waltz that I posted back in October you're in for a treat... it was so good I kept the whole thing in their highlights; it could hardly be left out being as impressive as it was. I would have loved to include even more dancing footage as the partying at their wedding literally went off like a frog in a sock! Staying till midnight was a breeze for me as I had plenty to keep me occupied lol :-)
Needless to say Mindy & Ryan's wedding was a whole lot of fun, mixed in with some sweet emotion, laughter and plenty of joy.

Getting engaged!

There tends to be a number of engagements over the xmas/new year period which is fast approaching.

If you know anyone who might be popping the question soon could you imagine how special it would be to have that moment captured on video?

It’s a little different I know, but consider this…

I remember talking quite comfortably about getting married with my husband before we got engaged, but when that moment actually happens it really is one of the most surprisingly emotional and overwhelming experiences you will ever encounter.

After all, you are acknowledging that you want to commit yourself solely to one another for the rest of your lives, that’s pretty extraordinary.

What a wonderful gift to relive that moment with each other, and possibly with future generations some day.

Any guys out there planning a proposal got the nerve??

Steph & Scott's Wedding in the Snow

Having never filmed a wedding in the snow I was faced with a few challenges, the biggest being the combination of someone who is totally uncoordinated and snow!

Surprisingly though I managed to stay upright and I must say I'm a bit chuffed about that :-)

As for the wedding itself there is so much I could rave about, a great celebrant, fabulous photographer, fantastic music duo at the reception as well as the reception venue itself. Plus what a fabulous group of people, everyone was so friendly and the genuine enthusiasm for celebrating the love between Steph and Scott was clear and made it such a pleasure for me to have been a part of it.

Steph and Scott you guys are a gorgeous couple and so clearly perfect for each other. Your happiness and joy on the day was truly infectious and I had a great time, I hope you enjoy your highlights.

Mindy & Ryan - "Time of my Life"

When Mindy first told me what her and Ryan had planned for their bridal waltz I was super excited! Not only did they pick the same song as myself and my husband, but they planned to do a dance routine just like we did as well!

Granted ours was no where near as impressive as Mindy and Ryan's, though with our wedding being over 6 years ago now I still maintain that we started the
"surprise bridal waltz routine" trend ;-D

This dance was extremely difficult to film as I was so impressed that I just wanted to squeal and clap along with everyone else. I had an absolute blast guys and thanks to everyone else who really let loose on the dance floor afterwards, it was loads of fun!

Demo Reel - An oldie but a goodie

So this is the demo reel that I've been meaning to update for longer than I care to say; put it this way, some of the couples featured in this demo have already had babies so its quite outdated and is all footage from what would now be considered antiquated cameras, yet for some reason I can't bring myself to delete it!

This morning I was clearing out my hard drives when I came across this and knew it needed removing, yet I found myself watching the whole thing through.

I don't know about other videographers but so much of myself and my emotions are invested into my films that when it does come time to archive a couples dvd, I find it challenging to hit that delete button every time... probably why I've hung on to this demo for so long.

I have been blessed to have shared so many wonderful moments with some beautiful people over the years so I've decided this demo will have a permanent residence in one of my hard drives. Though it is outdated I think it still sends a great message of the value of having a wedding film and the joy, emotion and fun they capture. So I have posted it here today to share that message with you.

Yep Anythony that was pretty cheesy, but pretty cute too and was the inspriation for the last song in this clip.

Jessica and Anthony's wedding was the last wedding I couldn't personally film whilst I was busy with my new bub and I was very disappointed to have missed it, but Ian has done a great job filming and I have thoroughly enjoyed putting their wedding film together. I hope you enjoy it also.

Jason and Alicia's Winter Wedding

It was pretty cold at Jason and Alicia's wedding last weekend but with all the kissing and cuddling that was going on I'm sure they kept each other sufficiently warm :-)

Their ceremony was held in a quaint little church in Culcairn followed by their reception at the Manor House in Albury.

This is another wedding where Grant Higginson stepped in for me when I was about to have my baby.
Being a local wedding though I was at least able to waddle my way to St Peter's Chapel and get a few shots in for Kelly and Brad's gorgeous ceremony.

Wagga Relay For Life Promo Video

As a huge supporter of the Cancer Council I would normally jump at the opportunity of helping out this great charity but when I was asked earlier this year to get some footage of the Relay for Life event, sadly jumping at the opportunity was quite difficult seeing as I was about 100 weeks pregnant at the time :-)

Nonetheless I promised I would do what I could which I'm sure would have been amusing to watch, in fact a number of walkers actually stopped walking to ask me if it was safe that I be there! So after inelegantly waddling around for a couple of hours, the following clip is what I managed to come up with.

My aim was capture the fun, passion and emotion of the event in the hopes that it might inspire more to join this wonderful cause.

ARTICLE: The Unplugged Wedding: Couples tell guests to put down their devices

Technology and social media is such a big part of our lives now that sometimes I think we get so caught up in getting that pic to upload or share our latest status update that we actually forget to experience and appreciate the moment itself. Don't get me wrong, as a self confessed computer geek & facebook addict I'm totally guilty of this myself which is why when a friend referred this article on to me, I just had to share it with you.

It's about "unplugging" your wedding and encouraging your guests to actually be guests at your wedding rather than occasional spectators clammering for that awesome shot.

"A wedding ceremony is exactly the kind of fleeting, important moment when it's especially valuable to really be present, rather than relating to the world through a small LCD screen."

I couldn't agree with this more, and from a personal point of view I would love to see couples encourage their guests to put down their phones and cameras, embrace the day and enjoy it! And from a professional point of view, by doing this and putting your complete faith in us (your videographer/photographer) you can better equip us to do the job you have hired us to do.

Your Wedding Video

Is there any better way to capture the emotion, excitement and colour of your wedding day than by becoming the leading lady in your very own wedding movie? The most enchanting day of your life will be over before you know it. But a professionally made video puts time on hold. You can re-live the day as many times as you want … just press ‘play’!

Better still, you can hear as well as see the moments that made the day so special: the music, the speeches, the laughter – all captured forever.

A video also gives you the chance to catch up on those little things that you missed (while you drifted along in a haze of happiness), but your videographer didn’t: your fiancé anxiously awaiting your arrival at the church; your flower girl, eyes wide with excitement; the look of pride on your dad’s face; and your mum as she shed a few quiet tears.

Even if you are notoriously camera shy, having your wedding filmed is not confrontational, intrusive, or in any way frightening. A professional will tend to blend into the background, and chances are that you’ll forget they are even there.

A professional will also encourage your guests to participate, so you’ll have a wonderful mix of candid images as well as the main event (that’s you). For this reason, it’s a good idea to let your guests know in advance that you are having your day filmed so that won’t get a surprise when the cameras start rolling.

A video is a great gift to send to family and friends who weren’t able to attend your wedding, and if future children want to know what mum and dad looked like when they got married, you can show them.

While some of your wedding guests may capture parts of the day on their home video cameras, this should never be a substitute for a professional recording.

A professional videographer has technical expertise and all the necessary professional equipment. However, state-of-the-art technology alone will not breath life into the end product. Only an experienced eye will capture the magic of the day, and only a skilled storyteller will be able to translate that magic to video.

With skillful editing a sequence of events can be combined into a beautiful and moving narrative. The precious moments captured as you got ready, arrived at the wedding venue, exchanged your vows, signed the register, left for your reception, danced the bridal waltz and cut your wedding cake will blend together to become a vivid and lasting memory of a very special day.

As with your photographer, start the search early to find a professional with whom you feel comfortable. If you have a recommendation from a friend or from your photographer, so much the better. Make an appointment to call at the videographer’s studio to see samples of their work.

As you view their showreels, consider presentation, quality, sound and lighting. If the images are clear and consistently focused, with well-lit indoor and outdoor shots, fluid camera movements free of shake, undistorted sound and unobtrusive visual effects, you know that the videographer is technically competent.

But do you like their style? Because if you don’t, no matter how professional they are, they are not the right videographer for you.

The next step is to ask questions: Can they give you client references? Will you get a highlights tape as well as a fully edited version? Will they be present throughout the reception? What kind of lighting do they use? Will there be one camera or two?

Can you select the music for the sound track? How long will it take to edit the footage? Can you approve the final cut and will you have access to the raw footage?

Also ask about the exact content of their package and the costs involved. Packages can vary from the cost of a simple package to a complete edited wedding video, with all of the extras. You will need to consider your budget and discuss the many available options with your videographer.

Equipment is another thing to query. Professionals only use the latest high-end quality equpment. These formats produce crisp pictures, clear sound and can be easily transferred to DVD.

Once you have the basics established, talk to your professional about what you envisage for your special day. And although they should listen carefully to what you want, they should also be able to offer some creative and useful suggestions.

Finally, ask for an itemised quote. Then compare prices, make your choice and make a booking. Good videographers are in great demand. However, before signing a contract, ensure that it includes the time, date and location for filming, the agreed video content, any specific editing requests, the fee, and an approximate delivery date.

With the help of your videographer, plan the production of your video in great detail. This includes the practical as well as the artistic and aesthetic aspects. For example, you might have to get permission to shoot in your church or in other venues.

There’s tremendous creative flexibility with video production. Special effects such as slow motion and black and white footage all add to the impact of the finished piece. And give plenty of thought to your selection of music. For variety, it's a good idea to include some fast paced tracks as well as the slower, romantic pieces that mean so much to you both.

Renae & Cameron's Wedding Highlights (Parkes Wedding Video)

"No matter if it was a tin shed out the back of Bourke I wouldn't care, as long as I was with you I would be happy." Renae got a little emotional when she said this to Cameron during her speech and I have to say it almost brought me unstuck as well as all of the speeches were so heartfelt.

It was such a pleasure sharing Renae and Cameron's day with them as the love they have for each other was obvious; they are a couple so in tune with each other that even their speeches virtually mirrored the others.

Congratulations Renae, Smurf and Jai, all the best for the future xxx

ARTICLE: Photos Vs Video... Why not both?

Months or even years of planning and anticipation goes into a wedding so its no wonder that when it finally arrives the old saying “it will be over in the blink of an eye” is pretty accurate. So many times couples say after watching their wedding video just how much they had forgotten already because the whole day whizzed by in a blur of emotion and excitement.

As clichéd as it may sound, it truly is a once in a lifetime experience and one that you will not only want to relive yourselves, but share with friends, family and future generations as well and how better to do this, than with a professional wedding film.

Photos Vs Video.... Why not both?

So many couples think they have to choose between having a great photographer or a great videographer, we say why not have both? Having fantastic photos is obviously important, but the medium does have its limitations. With video you can not only see your precious moments as they happened but hear them as well. The emotion in your voices as you said your vows to each other, the joy during the speeches and the romance and grace of your first dance as husband and wife. Capturing these moments in a photo alone just isn’t the same, but with both you truly can document your wedding day in full.

So what about budget?

Well consider this... Once all the food is eaten, your guests are gone and your flowers wilted, all you will have left to relive one of the most significant days of your life will be your video and your photos. If there is something that is of great importance to you, finding the means to get it is always possible if you really want it. You only get your wedding day once and one of the things you don’t want to be left with afterwards is regret.

Why film the photo shoot?

A few couples have asked me why I bother filming the photo shoot, after all, isn't that meant for photos? Well primarily yes it is, but the photo shoot is also the first time that you finally get to enjoy each other as a newly married couple.

We don't just film over the photographer's shoulder, but rather we try to capture the fun, romance and excitement that happens throughout your shoot and particularly in between the posed shots. The photo shoot is one of my favourite parts of the day to film as its also a time when we can try to be a little creative too.

Here's a photo shoot segment from Joel and Emma's wedding that we recently filmed in Canberra. The photographer was Ben from Fusion Photography who is not only exceptionally talented but was fabulous to work with as well!

Out of the action for a few weeks

Hi everyone, for those of you that don't know I am currently about 38 weeks pregnant so sometime in the next week or so I will be completely seperated from one of my babies (my computer!) whilst I'm busy having a new one :-)

Carla and Matthew's Wedding Highlights (Wagga Wagga Wedding Video)

Carla and Matthew had a lovely ceremony held out at Mt Erin Catholic Church followed by a cocktail reception at Cottontails Winery. It was my first visit to Cottontails and it was nice to see a new venue with plenty of great food and good company.

After some pretty ordinary weather for the season, Carla and Matt were lucky enough to snag a fabulous day for their wedding and I had an absolute ball sharing their day with them. Enjoy the highlights guys!

Emma and Joel's Wedding Highlights (Canberra Wedding Video)

Emma and Joel's Wedding had a few "firsts", a tonne of suprises and not one single detail was missed... right down to personalised socks for the groom!

Their ceremony was held at the Anzac Memorial Chapel Duntroon where Emma's mum suprised them with a very special dove release following the ceremony.

We then headed off for their photo shoot at various locations around Canberra with Ben from Fusion Photography (who by the way does some of the most entertaining "impressions" of how he would like his couples to pose hehe) - great working with you Ben! Check out some of his fantastic pics from the wedding on his blog here.

Their reception was then held at the Terrace Cafe at the Australian War Memorial which was not only a great venue, but Emma and Joel were the first couple to have their reception there which was pretty special... and this was only outdone by the highlight of the evening when Emma and Joel surprised everyone with one of my favourite bridal waltz's for the year.

Fantastic effort guys and thank you so much for letting me be a part of it!

Shannon & Kelly's Highlights (Wagga wedding Video)

The first half of this highlights had me editing with a tissue in one hand and some comfort chocolate in the other. Granted, I am a little "hormonally fragile" at present, but I think most would agree that the opening of this highlights feature is a teeny bit emotional. In fact, Shannon and Kelly's wedding was a rollercoaster of emotions, so I've tried to illustrate a few in this clip. Enjoy :-)

Roger and Karen - Together Forever (Temora Wedding Video)

Roger and Karen were married the weekend of the first lot of floods that hit the Riverina in October, needless to say it was very wet and VERY cold yet that didn't seem to dampen the warmth between these two gorgeous people.
(yeah I know that sounded pretty corny, but its also true!).

Despite my hands not working all that well because they were so cold, Roger and Karen's wedding was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them and their bridal party who were such troopers.

I filmed this wedding with Jodie at Harris Studios who I might add also did a fab job... as usual :-)

Michael and Sarah's Highlights (Wagga Wedding Video)

Occassionally a celebrant will give an emotional bride a "moment" to collect herself when they become a little overwhelmed during the exchange of vows. Giving a bride a "moment" because she was giggling so much was a first for even me to see...
and it was sooo cute!!

It was great watching Michael and Sarah clearly enjoying each other and their happiness was infectious. Thanks for sharing your day with us guys and congratulations to you both.

PS - must give a quick shout out to Michelle Robertson who sang both at the ceremony and the reception. I've seen her at a couple of weddings now and am happy to highly recommend her, she fabulous!

Nathan and Erina's Wedding Highlights (Wagga Wedding Video)

For my avid blog followers out there you may experience some Déjà vu when watching this clip. Erina is the identical twin of Carlie whose wedding we filmed back in February and it was an absolute pleasure being able to film Erina's wedding to Nathan as well.

You would think after hours and hours of looking at these girls that I would finally be able to tell them apart but alas no... thankfully the white dress on the wedding day is a pretty good giveaway :-)

So what to say about Nathan and Erina's highlights?

A groom impersonating a cow, surprise dancing, spontaneous arrival of a fly during the vows and a horse during the photo shoot and a hilarious "how they met" story as told by the best man...
I think I'll just let the video speak for itself with this one, the only thing I will say is how much fun I had putting it together. Enjoy!

Adam is one of many of my many Nash relatives and I went to school with Susan so it was so nice sharing their day with them and catching up with old friends, not to mention seeing Susan join the wonderful Nash clan :-)

Their reception was held at Turner's Vineyard just outside of Orange so it was a big day of travelling for me but I had a blast!

Exposed Down Under Workshop

Well after after a massive week I'm finally home after travelling to Orange for a wedding on saturday and then off to Sydney for the week to attend the Exposed Down Under Workshop.

I had a fabulous time, met some amazing cinematographers and got loads of inspiration & new ideas that I can’t wait to implement!

Here’s a group pic of those who attended - I’m buried at the back right corner, why I have my leg in the air I have no idea… I’m guessing too much caffeine may have had something to do with it :-)

When it came to their wedding, Emily in particular was one of the most meticulous planners I have met to the point where I actually got a little nervous when she not only handed me a huge chart of their wedding day itinerary, but it was colour coded as well! Then the one thing that she couldn't control happened on their wedding day, it rained....strike that, it poured!!

Thankfully, both Emily, Sam and their bridal party were absolute troopers and as wet and cold as it was, the only way you would notice was sad little me shivering and trying to film from under an umbrella :-)

Big grins, an abundance of kisses and loads of fun = an Amato / King wedding!

Adam and Linda's wedding was a joy to capture, the love on both sides of the family was evident and the effort that everyone put into the day was obvious; it was a pleasure to have been a part of it.

Adam and Linda were married at the Catholic church in Leeton and enjoyed their reception at the local function centre which they adorned with chandeliers, candles and laughter. Enjoy :-)

As part of the bridal expo that was on in Wagga recently we held a competition to give away a "Save the Date" video to one lucky couple, and that was Allan and Corine who are getting married this September.

Hiding behind his sunnies Allan wasn't too keen on the camera at first but started to relax a little as I got him talking about his bubbly and beautiful bride to be Corine, not to mention their gorgeous daughter Brianna who was an absolute delight. I got Allan and Corine to leave a little message for each other at the end that they haven't seen yet so I hope you enjoy the suprise guys! On the quiet I did prompt nervous Allan a teeny bit, see if you can guess where :-)

ARTICLE: How to Choose a Wedding Videographer

It is your big day and everything must go exactly as you planned. It took you a long time to get to this point and your wedding should be one of the greatest milestones in your life. So capture the moment with video! The steps below will guide you in choosing a wedding videographer for your big day.

Step 1 - Get a reference. Ask your friends, family and co-workers to refer their wedding videographer to you. They will be very honest and help clear your mind on any questions about the quality of video they received after their big day.

Step 2 - Research prices and make an informed decision. When looking for a videographer for your wedding, you don't want to just hire the first guy you find. It's like searching for a car. You want to look around till something stands out to you. And, it's not always the cheapest that is the best, you get what you pay for!

Step 3 - Put out some phone calls and test the waters. Speak to the videographer. Ask them as many questions as you would like. This is the time to get familiar with the lingo. This is also the time to feel out your prospective service provider.

Step 4 - Find out the expected date of completion. This is a prime indicator of how busy your videographer can be. You can ask if the videographer will have the edited footage of your memorable day once you get back from your honeymoon, or a few weeks later.

Step 5 - Ask the prospective videographer for a reel. All professional camera operators have some type of edited footage they can show you. This is their selling tool. You will be able to see the quality of their work.

Tips & Warnings

Remember to ask if they charge an hourly rate for editing, although most packages are all-inclusive.
Do not forget to ask what type of equipment they use. You do not want to pay professional prices for a camcorder.
Your videographer should have a 3 CCD (3-chip) broadcast camera.
Make sure your videographer knows of any last minute changes in the set up of the wedding and/or reception. They need to be in areas that are permissible for the shots they must cover.
Do not have unrealistic goals. Keep in mind the fact that your videographer will have to edit this footage.
Do not sign a contract unless you are certain that you are going to use this person as your wedding videographer.
Trust your instincts. If the person does not seem reliable, do not pick them.

Brent & Hayley's Photo Shoot (Temora Wedding Video)

It was wet and rainy on Brent and Hayley's wedding day which meant they had to move their outdoor ceremony to an undercover location which happened to the be the Temora Aviation Museum which meant they got some really cool shots outside the hanger as you will see in this video. Despite it being pretty wet and muddy Hayley was prepared with her stylish gumboots and the weather afforded some pretty cool storm backgrounds. Enjoy!

ARTICLE: Value of a wedding video - Survey of Brides AFTER their wedding.

It's common knowledge amongst the videography industry that most couples don't realise the full value of a wedding video until after their wedding. A small number of couples "get it" but there are so many that don't and end up with regret by either getting a friend to do it, or worse - not having a video at all.

WEVA (Wedding & Event Videographers Association) conducted a survey on brides AFTER their wedding asking them about the value of a wedding video. Below are some key points that I think are very interesting reading and you can read the full article here.

* "Results showed ninety-eight percent of surveyed newlyweds recommended that brides have their weddings videotaped."

* "Interestingly, brides do not fully appreciate the value of video until after the wedding. Before the wedding, only a little more than half of surveyed brides considered video a “Top 10” service in comparison to other wedding related services. However, after the wedding, that number climbs to 75%."

* "Brides say video does a better job of capturing the emotions of the day, records the history of the day better, and they strongly feel that future children will enjoy their wedding video more than their wedding photographs. Brides need professional services for both."

Wow, I can't believe its easter time again already, as a self confessed chocoholic its both one of my favourite and least favourite times of year. Its one of my faves for obvious reasons; I mean family weekend with free reign on eating chocolate, not much tops that!
But also least favourite because its also the time of where I almost always gain too much weight haha

Hectic couple of days!

Just wanted to shout out a quick thanks to everyone that came to the wedding expo on Sunday, it was great to meet so many wonderful couples and see everyone so excited and enthusiastic about their upcoming weddings....man my job is so hard! :-)

Despite nursing a cold and having only about 2 hours sleep the night before it was easy to perk up when I had so many fab people to chat to.

following the expo myself and Jodie from harris studios headed out to a little place called Bimbi on Monday; managed to get ourselves totally lost on the way but in the end had a fab day location scouting with Michael and Saun for their music video coming up next month...can't wait for that one.

Following that been flat out the last couple of days doing up oodles of info pack requests as a result of the expo, and despite one of my DVD burners going to heaven I'm almost done and should have them in the post this afternoon. With easter looming not sure that you will all get yours before the weekend, but they should at least arrive by early next week.

Phew, now I'm exhausted, better crank up the coffee machine again :-)

My husband and I were high school sweet hearts so I have a real soft spot for couples with similar stories and as Brad's father said in his speech "Since he was this big it was Carlie" - they even played husbands and wives as kids, how cute is that!

Needless to say this was a highlights clip I really enjoyed putting together. There's usually at least one or two really heartfelt moments during the speeches, but at Brett and Naomi's wedding... it was the whole lot! Almost everyone that got up to speak shed a little tear and all of the speeches had clearly had a lot of thought put into them which was so nice to see; it makes the night just so much more meaningful for the bride and groom and their families....even I got a little "hayfever" as the father of the groom put it during Brett's speech which is why I used it to highlight the following clip.

Peter and Crystal's Wedding Highlights (Harden Wedding Video)

There's often one or two things that stand out for me at each wedding I film, and its not always the obvious like a fabulous dress, cool cars, fantastic reception and so on and while this wedding had all of those things; the highlight for me was to see how involved everyone was from both sides of the family, not one detail was missed and it was clear that it really was a team effort from everybody involved - pulled together with much love and support.

The above clip is their highlights; selecting the music for this clip was quite a challenge as the selection Peter and Crystal used on the day was quite varied! They had everything from the traditional Pachelbel's Canon for the processional, the Beatles, right through to Pearl Jam and even Metallica! I've never used a Metallica song in a wedding film before, and even though the version in this clip is instrumental...I still think its rockin' !!

Yes I did just say rockin.... Sorry if that sounded lame...but Metallica + wedding....cool!

PS - Just wanted to give a shout out to Mitch and the guys from Heuristic who not only provided fantastic musical entertainment on the night, but also gave me plenty of laughs each time I had to duck back stage...thanks guys! You were awesome!

Vince & Sarah's Bride & Groom Prep (Jerilderie Wedding Video)

Vince and Sarah were married in Jerilderie in June and though it was a bit cool it was a fabulous day.

The theme of this wedding was "city girl marries country boy" which Vince and Sarah quoted in their ceremony booklets and thus the opening titles in the following clip. I've never opened a dvd with titles like this before but Vince & Sarah were such a fairytale couple that I think I can get away with it :-)

Fundraiser update - We made Prime TV!

Hi everyone, if you missed my previous post I am organising a fundraiser for the Cancer Council that starts next week ahh!

Anyway, I made a promotional video (that you can watch here)for the fundraiser and last night Prime news ran a segment on it where they used a lot of my footage (Cool!)

Cancer Council Fundraiser

Hello everyone, Libby here with a brief message about a fundraiser my husband and I are planning in September.

He'll be walking from Wagga to Young from the 15th to the 19th of September to raise money for the Cancer Council.

Once in Young we will then be holding an event to celebrate the completion of his walk and to fundraise further.

The event which will take place on Saturday the 19th of September will not only be a great opportunity for people to contribute to a wonderful charity but also to have a fantastic day out.

So if you're free on the 19th we would love to see you there!

The Wedding of Ivan and Michelle

Below is a clip from Ivan and Michelle's wedding in May while the girls prepared before the ceremony. The boys were getting ready at the same location so I got to duck out for 5 mins and get some footage of them as well which was great. Keep your eyes peeled for the very last shot of Michelle and her son Jonah....my absolute fave as they just look so happy, and what a gorgeous boy!

Ben and Alanna's Wedding

Ok so this is exactly why I LOVE May weddings, the light is perfect, the autumn colours are gorgeous and as Jodie puts it at the end of this clip, it's just magic.

Ben and Alanna were married at Mount Erin Chapel and then later enjoyed their reception at the Wagga RSL. Their photo shoot was in various locations around Wagga and I have posted the clip from their photo shoot below.... Enjoy!

End of Season for Video

Well my send off for the season was with Vince and Sarah on Saturday down in Jerilderie. It was a bit cool, rained on and off and in total I had a 15 hour day, so was totally wrecked by the time I got home, but what a send off!

The theme of this wedding was "city girl marries country boy" and what a fairytale couple. The bride was beautiful, the groom was hilarious, the bridal party was awesome and the day as a whole was just what a wedding should be - a lot of love, emotion and loads of fun.

Congratulations guys! Oh and I just loved it when they left the ceremony on a huge John Deer Tractor....Classic!

And so I am looking forward to having a few of my Saturdays back over the next few weeks before the end of year season kicks off in August but will be flat out with loads of video editing so will be posting some more vids soon.
